Learn guitar by playing real songs.
Learn guitar basics, chords & notes, and play songs with simple, step-by-step lessons.
Courses
Start with a course.
Guitar Basics remembers where you stopped. Pick a course, open the list, and go lesson by lesson.
Lessons
Lessons, one step at a time.
Each step shows a picture of what to play and a short instruction. Go next when you are ready, or skip back if you need another look.
Chords
Every shape, whenever you need it.
Open any unlocked chord from the library. Em, A, C, and the rest — each one ready when you are.
Chord lessons
See the shape. Then play it.
Chord lessons walk you through the shape with a picture and a diagram, then you practice strumming it on screen.
Songs
Pick a song. Play along.
Search for songs you actually want to play. See the chord you are on, the one coming next, plus video, capo, and speed.
Tuner
Pluck a string. Let it ring.
The tuner listens while you play. Hit the low E, wait for it to settle, then move through the rest of the strings.
